According to Marc Sternagel, the hotel’s General Manager, the idea for the rink was born from the hotel’s tradition of planning something special for the rooftop pool area. “We always want to do something extraordinary, especially around the holidays,” Marc shared. This year, they took it a step further, creating a magical winter wonderland that perfectly complemented the hotel’s elevated location above the bustling streets of Nashville.
In addition to the festive touch, the rink transformed the outdoor space into an attractive year-round amenity. By adapting the rooftop for ice skating, the Grand Hyatt was able to offer guests a unique experience during the holiday season, making the most of a versatile outdoor area.
