We believe that sport is crucial for a healthy and fulflling life. Ice skating and other ice sports are especially benefcial activities. Our goal is that everyone on this planet can enjoy ice skating in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way. The only way to achieve this is to constantly innovate, listen to athletes and clients and build the best ice skating solution. Period.

The founders of Glice were appalled by the enormous amounts of energy and water needed for the production of conventional ice. On the other hand, being athletes themselves, they knew that only with a truly revolutionary, new development in the field of synthetic ice top hockey players and figure skaters would actually accept artificial ice as a real alternative
to frozen ice.

Hence, a team of athletes and scientists was formed to achieve this ambitious goal. The result was Glice, which soon became the world’s top selling synthetic ice
product.
